5 Things Not To Do During A Blow Job

Blow jobs – love ’em or loathe ’em, it’s one of the most popular topics during our IRL classes. In fact, our blow job class has been the bestselling class for many years, the one class that consistently sells out. One magazine (Time Out) deemed it ‘high-end head’ which we like to slip in every now and again. But there’s one problem – not being penis-owners ourselves, we don’t know how receiving a blow job actually feels. We’ve figured out the tricks that work well, but what about those things that feel less great? It’s just as important to know what to avoid. There are the obvious things, of course, like don’t sink your teeth into the schlong. But what else?

Expert help was needed, so we asked a bunch of friendlies about what they don’t like during blowies. As it turns out, there are plenty of pet-hates…

  • Don’t Treat Every Cock The Same

Every penis is as unique as the human it’s attached to, and therefore deserves to be treated as such. Approach every new partner and their penis as a blank canvas. Enjoy painting a picture of pleasure together (gosh, we’re feeling romantic today!). Make sure to figure out this penis’s pleasure points and what makes it pop its cork in ecstasy.

  • Don’t Be Too Gentle with the Shaft

Many penis-owners say they want their lovers to be a bit firmer with the hand-action. If you’ve ever had the immense pleasure of watching a partner beat their meat, you’ll likely have noticed that they don’t mess about – they grip it good!

There are no bones or muscles inside the shaft and because of that, it’s highly unlikely you’ll break it. Give the shaft a good squeeze and pay attention to their reaction; if their eyes start to roll back into their head, you’re onto a good ‘un so keep going!

  • Don’t Be Too Rough With The Balls

Firm handling of the balls is an acquired taste and should never be attempted without express permission from the owner. If they aren’t begging you for it, it’s safe to assume they don’t want it. If you aren’t sure if they want their balls played with, and how they like it, just ask. A whispered ‘Do you like that?’ as you stroke their party-bag is generally enough to get the conversation started. Cup, stroke, hold and tickle the ballsack, but go softly.

  • Nibbling Is A No-No

It’s not corn on the cob, babes.

We have it on good authority that nibbling doesn’t add anything to the experience in terms of active pleasure. At worst, it can even be quite painful! We also imagine that the sight of a pair of lips nibbling away at the pleasure package can be quite distracting – we’re guessing that the fear of a chomp can get in the way…

  • Don’t Change Rhythm Too Often

It might seem like a good idea to switch it up every few strokes, but actually, it can be off-putting and put a peen off its stride. Remember all those times you were close to coming, only for your playmate to change rhythm or position and the frustration you felt over the orgasm that *almost* happened… Same thing.

If you’re unsure, take your cues from your partner. Pay close attention to their body language. If, for example, their hips are tilting forward they’re having a great time and want more, more, more. If their hips are tilting away from you, stimulation is not quite right and you need to re-think your cock-approach.

Sighs and groans are great too, and if they give verbal instructions such as faster or harder or slow down, just follow along and pay close attention to what they like. We like to start off slow, give a bit of rhythm change in the middle just for fun, and then faster and harder as they’re about to orgasm.
